House Party by Eric Walters

Two friends, Casey and Jen, decide to throw a party while Casey's parents are away. Both girls are unpopular and want to throw the party in order to gain friends and be seen as "cool." At first the party is fun and exciting, but it quickly gets out of control and becomes a frightening and dangerous experience.

I would recommend this one for middle school or maybe even some early high school students. The story had a good moral to it without being too preachy to kids, however the writing was a little bland.
